What if an MFA Device is Lost or Stops Working?

If an MFA device is lost, stops working, or is destroyed, and you can't sign into the DSaaS console, you will need to have MFA deactivated for your account.

  1. Contact the person within your organization that provided you with you sign in credentials and have them deactivate MFA for your account.
  2. Change your DSaaS password in case an attacker has stolen the MFA device and might also have access to your current password.
  3. If you still have access to your device, delete the old MFA entry before creating a new one.
  4. Reactivate MFA for your account.

If you are the only administrative user for your DSaaS account, please contact support for assistance in temporarily deactivating MFA for your account.
