BACKGROUND

Debi Pearl is a renowned author originally from Memphis, Tennessee. How old is Debi Pearl, you might ask? She grew up in the 1960s during a massive outburst of religious exploration, and instantly connected with Godly views and also the “hippy” movement that was happening simultaneously. She had a soft spot in her heart to help those in need - she recalls stories from her childhood when she struggled to understand the glares she would receive from Caucasian people when she had African American soldiers in her vehicle. Refusing to live any other way than how God intended, she ignored the stares and wrote about it later in life.

FAMILY

She has been happily married to fellow author Michael Pearl since 1971. They have five children and a whopping twenty-five grandchildren. Throughout their lives and marriage, they have completely devoted themselves to God. Before moving to Pleasantville, TN, they ministered to military families and dabbled in artistry, and their many children and grandchildren have always been participants in their many religious endeavors.

MINISTRY

When they decided to move, they built their following by having local Bible studies and eventually opened up a prison ministry. Deciding to add to their already impressive resume, they shifted some of their attention to writing children's books and also family relationship literature as well. Having a gut feeling that this was their calling, they continue to minister in the prison while writing these helpful books.
