Transforming Shapes, Solids, and Attitudes
Description
Participants will explore transformations and scale factor in a low-floor, high-ceiling standards-based lesson using magnetic shapes. As students build and transform 2-D and 3-D figures, they will create, revise, and defend conjectures. Transform your students' idea of geometric proofs beyond a pen and paper.
