Engaging Students via Problem Solving in Precalculus and Discrete Mathematics

Description

Using the Mathematics Teaching Practices from NCTM's Principles to Actions (2014) as a framework for teaching our Precalculus and Discrete Mathematics course has helped our students to become creative and independent problem solvers. In this session, we will share some of the topics, problems, and approaches that have helped our students succeed.
