Programs And Activities My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for the children to learn and develop. I believe having a variety of activities help children stimulate their brain and explore. At Blooming Learners child care home, my adaptive weekly program contains both indoor, and outdoor activities (depending on the weather). With the variety of the activities in the program, children can benefit from both structured and non-structured learning. Activities in the program cover all developmental areas, physical, cognitive, language, and fine and gross motors. In our playroom, we have many toys for different age groups, many books to read, and puzzles to sort. Art and craft activities make a big part of our day; we do different types of painting, drawing, cutting, pasting, and collage. Play dough and clay are always on our activity table. In our group time, we practice a lot of language, counting, singing nursery rhymes, and story telling. And we play games. For more details please have a look at a sample of my weekly program. |
