The production family section of the tool detail allows a user to link the specific tool associated with a production family.   

To link a production family to a tool:

1. Access the tool details of the tool.   See Accessing Tool Asset Details.
2. In the production family section of the tool details, use the production family MRP area drop down menu to select the production MRP area where the tool is located.
3. Using the production family drop down menu, choose the production family associated with the tool.
4. An additional field is available, if an address correction needs to occur about the tools location.

To access the details of the production family selected:

1. Click the magnifying glass.
