Maintain MRP Area Plant Models is a process of defining what models will be produced using which MRP area.   This session is used to release FMRP plant BOM planning tables to FMRP EGBOM production tables.   The MRP Area Plant Models session was created to perform this function in a multiple plant multiple MRP area environment. Future versions of FMRP will be automating this process.

In more detail the MRP Area Plant Models session:

• Utilizes the Plant BOM table (plant specific).
• Defines which models are produced in a MRP Area. 
• Removes models from an MRP area.
• Finds models with BOM changes.
• Releases models with BOM changes.
• Releases BOM to EGBOM – updates BOM adopt dates per selected model.
