A linefeed is the assigned location where items are applied on (Application Linefeed) or delivered to (Logistics Linefeed) the production line. A workstation may have multiple linefeeds. Linefeeds may also be created from the import of master data. 

To add a linefeed: 

1. Using the Advanced menu, click Item Planning > Facility Layout > Linefeeds.
2. Click Add.
3. Select the MRP Area.
4. Select the Production Line.
5. Select the Line Segment (if applicable).
6. Enter the Slot.
7. Select the Internal Route. 
8. Enter any additional linefeed details in the Linefeed Text. 
9. Attach any documents related to the linefeed. 
10. Click Create.

To update a linefeed:

1. Select the Plant.
2. Select the MRP Area.
3. Select the Production Line.
4. Select the Line Segment.
5. Click the magnifying glass to select the Linefeed 
6. Update the linefeed details.
7. Click Update.

To delete a linefeed: 

1. Select the Plant.
2. Select the MRP Area.
3. Select the Production Line.
4. Select the Line Segment
5. Click the magnifying glass to select the Linefeed.
6. Click Delete. 

Note: Delete button only appears for user's with delete authorization.
