Line segments are specific areas in a production line flow.

To add a line segment: 

1. Using the Advanced menu, click Item Planning > Facility Layout > Line Segments.
2. Click Add.
3. Select the Production Line.
4. Enter the Line Segment Name.
5. Enter the Line Segment Description.
6. Click Create.

To update a line segment:

1. Click the magnifying glass to select the Line Segment.
2. Update the line segment details.
3. Click Update.

To delete a line segment: 

1. Click the magnifying glass to select the Line Segment.
2. Click Delete.

 

Note: Delete button only appears for user's with delete authorization.
