Internet Tips!

-It's often useful to go to the web sites of companies whose products you use. If there is a new version/update/bug fix, you can often download it from their site.

-If you have problem there is a pretty big chance the answer has already been answered. Search the Net with a search engine like Alta Vista, looking for 'FAQ' and then some key words relating to your problem. Alternatively you can look through newsgroups in search for the answer. The newsgroups relating to computer information usually begin with 'alt.comp.' or 'comp.'

Or send an e-mail here if you can't seem to find any other references to your problem.

-If you need to find someone's e-mail address, try looking in one of the e-mail search engines, like Four11 or WhoWhere.

Starting next week:- "A weekly guide to Computer jargon!" So start LOL at the thought of being told to RTFM when Spamming via an ISP with a cypherpunk problem. Got all that? See you next week!
