Its a shame really because they could have been good. What am I talking about? Guess...

Oh alright, its CD-ROM based magazines. They were a good idea before we had the Net as a popular medium, but now they're a bit dated.

Why have a liquid digital media burnt onto a disc once a month when we can have something new every day on the Net? If we want something monthly why not get a paper magazine which offers more for less and can be read on the train, handy feature or what?

They've made a niche which has been squeezed out of existence before it could blossom. It sucks for the zines' concerned but they'd do well to move their ideas and content onto the web, then they'll find true success.
