At the Mischer Neuroscience Institute at Memorial Hermann–Texas Medical Center, we
have a reputation for innovation. We were selected to participate in the nation’s first
multi-center trial to study the use of hypothermia following head injury. We established
one of the first dedicated stroke programs in the world. We orchestrate more clinical trials
for new multiple sclerosis therapies than anyone in Texas. And we are leaders in
performing complex spine surgeries and reconstructions. All of this is enabled by our
groundbreaking affiliation with The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston
