SMOKING
Smoking on any easyJet flight is
strictly forbidden. This includes the use
of electronic cigarettes.
ALCOHOL
Alcoholic drinks are available on
board as detailed in our retail brochure.
These are served at the crew’s discretion
to passengers of legal drinking age.
While on board, you are only permitted to
consume alcoholic drinks purchased from
the easyJet Bistro. It is an offence under
Section 19 of the Air NavigationOrder
2010 (Prohibited Behaviour) to be drunk on
board an aircraft. The cabin crew reserve
the right to stop serving alcohol to any
passenger who is or appears to be drunk.
Duty-free alcohol can be purchased from
the easyJet Boutique (subject to route), but
cannot be consum ed on board.
YOUR CONDUCT ON BOARD
In accordance with UK and
International law, the Captain is in
command of the aircraft and every person
on board shall obey his or her lawful
commands. Captains have the authority
to take any actions they deemnecessary
tomanage passengers who are disruptive
or cause problems, under the Prohibited
Behaviour regulations quoted above. Our
primary concern is for the safety of our
passengers and crew. We have a zero-
tolerance policy with regard to passengers
who are verbally or physically disruptive
towards any other person on board the
aircraft. Crew are trained to deal with such
situations andwill always put the safety of
the aircraft, crew and other passengers first.
SAFETY EQUIPMENT
It is an offence to tamper with
or remove any safety equipment on this
aircraft, including the life jackets. Such
actions may jeopardise other passengers’
safety and lead to prosecution.
HAND BAGGAGE
Please ensure that your cabin
baggage remains safely stowed for
take-off and landing, and at any time as
instructed by the crew. Place small bags
under the seat in front of you (unless you
are seated in an emergency exit row);
larger items must go in the overhead
lockers. Place your bag securely in the
locker and take care when opening the
lockers, as falling items may injure your
fellow passengers.
SHARPS BOXES
Hypodermic needles are
permitted on board for medical use
only and should always be disposed of
in a sharps box. If you need to dispose
of a needle or other sharp item, please
contact a member of the cabin crew.
ELECTRONIC DEVICES
In accordance with the Civil
Aviation Authority safety regulations,
the use of devices for messaging,
calls or internet access must remain
switched off once aircraft doors
have been closed. Some devices can
be used during the flight, including
smartphones, laptops and electronic
games. Devices that have a flight-safe
mode can be used, provided this
is enabled before the aircraft doors
have been closed.
Any devices with built-in WLAN/
wi-fi can be used, provided that the
WLAN/wi-fi is switched off prior to
the doors being closed. All devices
must be switched off for take-off
and landing. If in doubt, please keep
devices switched off for the duration
of the flight, as they may interfere with
our systems.
