PalaisRoyal et lePalaisdeJustice. Lecircuit traverseraégalement
desespacesverts, avecuneboucledans leBoisde laCambre, la
ForêtdeSoigneset leParcdeTervuren, avantde revenirauParcdu
Cinquantenaire, d’où lacourses’effectueraendroite ligne jusqu’à
l’arrivéeprévue sur laPlacedeBrouckère, bienévidemment aprèsun
passage sur lasomptueuseGrand-Place.
Si l’idéedecourirunmarathonvousparaît insurmontable,

De lopersvolgeneenpopulaire toeristische routedoorde staddie
inhetJubelparkbegint.Vervolgenskomen ze langsmarkanteplekken
alshetSchumanplein, hetKoninklijkPaleisenhetJustitiepaleis. Het
parcoursdoet ookdegroene longvandestadaandooreenbocht te
makendoorhetTerkamerenbos, het ZoniënwoudenhetParkvan
Tervuren. DaarnawordtweerkoersgezetnaarhetJubelpark,waarna
je in rechte lijn, overde feeëriekeGroteMarkt, naardeeindstreepop
hetDeBrouckèreplein loopt.
Als jehetwarmkrijgt bij het ideealleenal omeenmarathon te
lopen, kun jeookdeBrusselsHalfMarathonofde5kmMini-Marathon
overwegen. Zelfsdekleintjeskunnenhunbestebeentjevoorzetten in
deChiquitaKidsRun (1 km).
De laatste jarenhebben telkensmeerdan 13.000mensenaanhet
evenementdeelgenomen.Ongeveereenkwartvandedeelnemers
wasafkomstiguit het buitenland.

Runnerswill be ledalongapopulartourist route through thecitybeginning
in theParcduCinquantenaire. Theywill then runpast landmarks suchas the
SchumanSquare, theRoyalPalaceand theJusticePalace. The routealsowinds
through thecity’sgreenspaces,witha loop through theBoisde laCambre,
theForêtdeSoignesand theTervurenPark, before returning to theParcdu
Cinquantenaire fromwhere itwill beastraight run, across theatmospheric
GrandPlace, to the finish lineat thePlacedeBrouckère.
If the thought of runningamarathon isoverwhelming, theBelfiusBrussels
HalfMarathonorthe5kmMiniMarathonarealsoonoffer. Even the littleones
canput theirbest foot forward in theChiquitaKidsRun (1 km).
