for years. In addition to AA’s already-popular
Self-ServiceCheck-Inkiosks, AAhasmadeoth-
er recent technological enhancements tomake
travel onAAeasier thanever, including:
Interneton theGo—MobileBroadbandService
Marking the beginning of the next wireless
revolution, American hasmade history with the
launch of the mobile broadband service Gogo,
provided by Aircell, as a trial on itsBoeing 767-
200 fleet. Customers traveling on American’s
Boeing 767-200 aircraft can access the Internet
on nonstop flights between New York and San
Francisco, New York and Los Angeles, andNew
YorkandMiami. These customers stay connect-
ed topeopleon theground via the Internetwhile
travelingat 30,000 feet above theUnitedStates.
Aircell’s Gogo is available to customers as
a fee-based service in all cabins. Aircell will
charge $12.95 on flights longer than three
hours. Each paid Gogo session includes full In-
ternet access. Cell-phone and Voice over Inter-
net Protocol (VoIP) servicesarenot available.
MobileBoardingPassesSent toYourCellPhone
Mobile boarding passes are now available for
Web-enabled cell phone or PDA works. Simply
enterwww.aa.com intoamobile Internetbrows-
er to get started. Customers can use the mo-
bile version of AA.com to book flights and view
reservations, make changes to many domestic
reservations, check in for domestic flights and
check flight status/schedules, and contact AA
customer service. Customers also can check
bag status, view fare specials, access details on
AdmiralsClub locations, andbuyAdmiralsClub
One-DayPassesandmemberships.
Mobile AA.com is also a great way to find in-
formation on destinations, including weather
and airport information, and it can be used to
enroll in the AAdvantage program and view
milesaswell as request andpurchase500-mile
upgrades.
PayPal
PayPal is now available on AA.com. It’s a safe,
easy way to pay without exposing your financial
information. Select PayPal as your payment
method tobe temporarily redirected toPayPal’s
website and securely log in and confirm your
payment.You’ll thenbereturned toAA.com.This
option is available to customers in the United
States (includingPuertoRicoand theU.S. Virgin

The mobile-boarding-pass program is be-
ing done in partnershipwith the Transportation
Security Administration. If successful, it could

its customers. Other customer-friendly tech-
nology designed to enhance customer experi-
enceonAA.com includes:
• An online shopping and booking feature that
makes it easier for customers toplan travel on
AA.com with the ability to see the lowest fare
available threedaysbeforeand threedaysafter
their original departuredate.
• DealFinder, which can be downloaded to a
computer desktop and offers customers ex-
clusive special fares to locations throughout
American’sworldwidenetwork.
• An AAdvantage award-booking feature that
enables faster booking of AAdvantage award
travel on AA.com via color-coded calendars
showing available dates for each AAdvantage
award level over a four-weekperiod.
• A “Change Reservations” enhancement on
AA.com that letsmany customers change their
reservations online up to three hours prior to
their scheduleddeparture time.
• Country-specific Spanish-language portals
added to
that let site
visitors select their country of residence from
amongnearly 20 choices.
• The “Fly Now, Pay Later” deferred-payment
option, which allows holders of the American
Airlines Credit Card to enjoy six months of
no payments and no interest for tickets pur-
