For Software Development the reference Special Interest Group is the ANZSNM IDL User Group. This group was formed in Adelaide on the 20th of May 2000 at the Annual General Meeting of the Physics SIG. Its purpose is to provide a forum for the development and sharing of a collection of software tools & utilities using the IDL programming language but not only.

Software Repository

Any of the IDL user programs in the repository above can be run on any platform using the freely distributed utility 'IDL Virtual Machine'. Contact the coordinator of the group or the program author to have a compiled .sav version of the program.
