Cloning a VPG to the Recovery Site
You can create a clone of each virtual machine in a VPG. The clone is a copy of the protected virtual machine, located on the recovery site, while the virtual machine on the protected site remains protected and live.

Note: You cannot clone virtual machines in a VPG test while a backup job is running. When the recovery site is vCD, the clone is created in vCenter Server and the virtual machines have to be manually imported into vCD.
