The Griffons had 233 yards rushing and forced Henderson State’s quarterback Kevin Rodgers into throwing four interceptions. The Griffons improve to 12-1 on the season and will travel to Mankato, Minn. to take on the Mavericks of Minnesota State-Mankato. The Griffons finished with 437 yards of total offense. Travis Partridge finished with 204 yards connecting on 22-of-29 passes and two touchdowns. Tyron Crockom had six catches for 40 yards while Kyle Knox and Brandon Wright had four apiece. Michael Hill rushed for 122 yards and one touchdown on 27 carries while Raphael Spencer had six catches for 95 yards. Hill has rushed for over 100 yards 12 times this season and 20 times in his career. Defensively Ray Cottman and Marc Harrison had seven tackles. The Griffons had nine pass break-ups with David Bass getting two.The Reddies had 480 yards with 412 coming in the air. Kevin Rodgers connected on 37-of-65 passes with four interceptions and one touchdown. Dustin Holland had 10 catches for 103 yards while Jordan had nine for 125. Keaton Stigger had 16 tackles with 10 being solo. Improved to 12-1 and won their first road playoff game ever. The Griffons end the season with a 12-2 overall record, which is a single season best for victories. Michael Hill finished the game with 50 yards rushing. Stephen Juergens had 11 tackles with the one interception. David Bass finished his final game in a Griffons’ uniform with one sack and six and a half tackles. The Griffons finished the season with tons of individual records, which include most career rushing yards with Hill gaining 4,969 yards on the ground. Partridge finished with 18 rushing touchdowns, also a school record. Bass ended with 36 career sacks. As for the season, Ben Pister finished with 22 and a half tackles for a loss -- a school record -- and Taylor Anderson made 74 consecutive extra points to hold that record. Anderson also has a streak of 80 extra points overall which is a record.The Griffons graduate 22 seniors this season.
