HISTORY STAFF RECORDS REVIEW OPPONENTS COACHES PLAYERS INTRO Page 36 THIS IS GRIFFON FOOTBALL Blaise Kriley Becky Johnson Rachel Petty Jaime Jackson Missouri Western State University’s Department of Athletics is proud to partner with Heartland Regional Medical Center, who is the “Official Medical Provider of Missouri Western Athletics.” In the partnership which now enters its seventh year, Heartland provides medical/ support services to Missouri Western Athletics teams. Medical services provided by Heartland include a complete multispecialty, pre-participation physical examination for all student-athletes, ambulance service, physical therapy services and other such medical services that are necessary for an NCAA Intercollegiate Athletics program. On campus, the Griffon Sports Medicine Program is led by first-year Head Athletic Trainer Blaise Kriley, ATC, who replaces long-time trainer Myron Unzicker, who retired last May after 30 years at Missouri Western. Kriley comes to Missouri Western after serving as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Emporia State. Assistant Athletic Trainer Rachel Petty, ATC, enters her second year full-time at Missouri Western and Athletic Training and Rehabilitation Coordinator Becky Johnson ATC enters her ninth on staff. The sports medicine team also added graduate assistant Jamie Jackson to the team in January of 2013. Together, the Sports Medicine Team has over 40 years of athletic training expertise and provides services to more than 250 Griffon student-athletes in 10 sports and spirit squads.
