Anderson made 12-of-19 field goals and set an MWSU record making 80 consecutive extra points. He also set a single season MIAA record making 74 straight. Junior punter Scott Groner will continue to build on his success. Groner punted 40 times last season averaging 41.2 yards per kick. He had 15 inside the 20 and 10 that went 50 or more yards which included a 65-yarder. The Griffons will have to replace two of the most talented return men in Griffon history in Tarrell Downing and TJ Fannin. They will look to replace them with Tyron Crockom, Derek Libby and Raphael Spencer. The Griffons will also have to replace Downing in the punt return area. Crockom and Libby are talented players that will step in and get the job done. Arguably one of the most unnoticed positions on the field, but one that can be one of the most critical is that of long snapper. The Griffons will look for John Oglesby or Alex Molloy to step in and replace three-year starter Tyson Liston.
