Personal - He is the son of Mike and Lori Moon and plans to major in health promotion. 25 • Dusty Harper • INF 6-4 • 225 • L/L • Senior • Tulsa, Okla./Texas Wesleyan Prior to Southern - Dusty played in 50 games at first base this past year at Texas Wesleyan. Last season he had a .290 AVG, with 7 2B's, 3 HR's, and had 29 RBI's. He played the previous two seasons at Northwestern Oklahoma - Enid and batted .280 as a sophomore with 14 2B's and 34 RBI's. Personal - He is the son of Mike and Annette Pruitt and plans to major in health promotion. 30 • Nathan Strobel • RHP 6-1 • 176 • R/R • Freshman • Republic, Mo./Republic HS Prior to Southern - Strobel comes to Southern from Republic High School where he played for coach Howard Quigley ... a three year starter at both pitcher and centerfield, Strobel was 5-1 as a junior with 58 strikeouts in 52 innings pitched ... He also allowed just 19 walks ... A first-team All conference selection, Strobel also played a season of football at Republic. Personal - The son of Rick and Audra Strobel, Nathan intends to major in business at Southern. 31 • Ryan Spry • RHP 5-11 • 155 • R/R • Junior • Warsaw, Mo./Longview CC Prior to Southern - Ryan pitched out of the bullpen for Coach Culbertson at Longview CC. This past season Ryan pitched 39.2 innings in 21 relief appearances with a 3-0 record, 3.86 ERA, and 24 K's.
