Gateway HS 2012 JUNIOR SEASON Started in all 10 games for the Pirates… was second on the team with 80 tackles on the season, including 31 solo stops… had a season-high 14 tackles (six solo) against Bethune-Cookman on Sept. 29… also had 11 tackles (six solo) against Savannah State on Oct. 27, as well as 10 tackles (seven assisted) at Howard on Nov. 3… had 1.5 sacks on the season… had 5.5 tackles for loss on the season, ranking fifth on the team… recorded his lone interception of the season against Norfolk State on Oct. 13, returning it for a touchdown. 2011 SOPHOMORE SEASON Second Team All-MEAC… started in all 11 games for the Pirates… led the team with 110 tackles, including 41 solo stops… tied for third in the MEAC with 10.0 tackles per game… had a career-high 18 tackles (seven solo) against Howard on Nov. 5… added 17 tackles (eight solo) at Old Dominion on Sept. 17… had 12 tackles each against Princeton (Oct. 8) and at Norfolk State (Oct. 15)… fifth on the team with 7.5 tackles for a loss of 21 yards… recorded his lone sack of the season against North Carolina Central on Oct. 22… intercepted two passes and returned them 46 yards against Delaware State on Nov. 12. 2010 FRESHMAN SEASON Started in all 11 games for the Pirates… was sixth on the team with 62 tackles (30 solo, 32 assisted) on the season… recorded a season high 10 tackles (five solo, five assisted) at North Carolina Central and against Bethune-Cookman (two solo, eight assisted)… recorded seven tackles (six solo, one assisted) at Central Michigan… had six tackles (three solo, three assisted) at Morgan State… fourth on the team with 5.0 tackles for loss.
