Fort Pierce Westwood HS 2012 SOPHOMORE SEASON Played in three games, making his lone start of the season against Bethune-Cookman on Sept. 29… caught four passes for 35 yards… three of those catches, for 29 yards, came against Bethune-Cookman. 2011 FRESHMAN SEASON Played in three games in a reserve role for the Pirates… caught two passes for 41 yards, including a 35-yard reception against Princeton on Oct. 8. FORT PIERCE WESTWOOD HIGH SCHOOL Played football and basketball all four years… named Honorable Mention All-State in football as a sophomore… named All-State in football as a junior… rushed for 956 yards and 11 touchdowns as a senior, earning All-State honors… also played baseball as a freshman, sophomore, and junior… named All-Conference in basketball as a junior and senior, as well as team MVP as a senior… was also on the track & field team as a senior. Hargrave Military Academy Suitland HS 2012 FRESHMAN SEASON Played in five games for the Pirates as a reserve… had 10 tackles on the season, including two solo stops… had a season-high seven tackles (six assisted) against Bethune-Cookman on Sept. 29… also had half a sack in that game… had 1.0 tackle for loss on the season. SUITLAND HIGH SCHOOL Moved from JV to varsity as a freshman… was a varsity starter as a sophomore… named Honorable Mention All-Met, All-County, and All-State as a junior. Brian Swain 6 | Quarterback 5-11, 180, Sophomore Laredo, Texas Alexander HS 2012 FRESHMAN SEASON Played in five games for the Pirates, getting the start in the last three games of the season… completed 23 of 43 passes for 227 yards and a touchdown… completed 53.5 percent of his passes… had an efficiency rating of 100.86… was 8-for-13 for 108 yards at Delaware State… was 13-for-23 for 93 yards at Howard on Nov. 3… threw his first career touchdown pass at Morgan State on Nov. 17… ran 27 times for 123 yards and a touchdown… averaged 4.6 yards per carry and 24.6 rushing yards per game… rushed 14 times for a career high 105 yards and a touchdown at Howard. ALEXANDER HIGH SCHOOL Was on the JV football team as a freshman… moved up to varsity as a sophomore… was also on the basketball team all four years… was on the track & field team as a freshman.
