HAMPTON PREVIEW COACHES PIRATES MEAC OPPONENTS REVIEW RECORDS POSTSEASON tackles on the season, including seven solo efforts… had four tackles at Bethune-Cookman on Sept. 22 (two solo) and against Delaware State on Nov. 12 (one solo)… recorded his lone sack of the season at Bethune-Cookman for a loss of nine yards… also forced two fumbles in that game, recovering one of them. 2010 FRESHMAN SEASON Played in 10 games for the Pirates, starting at Delaware State… performed on an offensive line that helped Hampton rush for 145.6 yards per game and record 13 touchdowns on the ground. BETHEL HIGH SCHOOL Played two years of football as a junior and senior… had 61 solo tackles and 33 assisted tackles as a senior, while recording eight sacks and four forced fumbles… earned Second Team All-District honors as team co-captain… played JV basketball as a freshman and sophomore, serving as team captain both seasons. INDIAN RIVER HIGH SCHOOL Started in JV football as a freshman… moved up to varsity football as a sophomore, recording 26 pancake blocks and six tackles… had 60 tackles and five sacks as a junior, earning All-Southeastern District Honorable Mention… had 85 tackles, 28 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks as a senior… did not allow a sack on the offensive line… named First Team All-Southeastern District on offense and defense… was on the wrestling team as a freshman and sophomore, going 10-2 as a freshman and 10-1 as a sophomore… threw the shot put for the track team as a junior, setting a personal-best mark of 36 feet.
