B R O N C O S Athletic administration Carlitta Moore Director of Sports Medicine 2nd Year • Fayetteville ™ St., 2007 Carlitta Moore is in her second year as the Director of Sports Medicine at Fayetteville State University. A 2007 graduate of Fayetteville State, Moore returns to the Bronco family after spending two years as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Saint Augustine’s University in Raleigh. During her time at SAU, Moore assisted with the medical coverage for 16 sports teams as well as the George Williams Express Professional Track Team. She was also a professor and taught Introduction to Athletic Training. Moore spent one year prior to working at Saint Augustine’s as an Athletic Trainer at Champion Sports Medicine in Birmingham, AL. Her services at Champion included: aquatic therapy, hand therapy, sports injury rehabilitation, pediatrics, work conditioning and orthopedics. Moore also provided outreach coverage at Pelham High School. She received her Master’s of Science degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2009 where her major was Health and Human Performance - Athletic Training. She served as an Athletic Training Student during her time at UT-Chattanooga. Moore earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Fayetteville State with a major in Biology. She worked as a Pre-Professional Student at FSU and worked with the football, men’s and women’s basketball, softball, tennis and volleyball teams while assisting with Student Health Services. She is a member of various athletic organizations including: Mid-Atlantic Athletic Trainers’ Association, National Athletic Trainers’ Association, National Athletic Trainers’ Association Career Assistance Project Team, North Carolina Athletic Trainers’ Association, Tennessee Athletic Trainers’ Society and Southeast Athletic Trainers’ Association.
