4 Gameday Parking Media parking at Burke-Tarr stadium is available on a limited basis. Requests for parking should be made when submitting press and or photo credentials. Media credentials Credentials and working space for media members are issued at the sole and exclusive direction of the Carson-Newman Athletic Communications Office. All members of the media must request credentials in writing through Director of Athletic Communication Adam Cavalier at acavalier@cn.edu or via fax at 865-471-3514, based on the following priorities and guidelines: 1. Originating radio and television personnel involved in an orginating broadcast. 2. Daily/Weekly newspapers and media outlets regularly Carson-Newman and the current opponent. Wire services, regional and national publications are also afforded this priority. 3. Non-originating radio and television personnel producing reports on the game. Only local radio and TV stations with a full-time sports director conducting a regular sports show will receive consideration for credentials. 4. Officially recognized Carson-Newman or opponent student publications or electronic media outlets. • Passes are non-transferable and are subject to immediate revocation if transferred. Carson-Newman reserves the right to deny media credentials to any individual. • Only websites that are affiliated with a national or regional news media organization (CNN/SI, ESPN, USAToday, etc.), an opponent institution or South Atlantic Conference will be considered for credentials. • All credential and media parking requests MUST be made via fax 865-471-3514 or email (acavalier@cn.edu), on official letterhead, at least five days in advance of the game. Due to mail service, media passes will not be mailed in some instances. If this is the case, passes may be picked up at the will call window of the C-N ticket booth at Burke-Tarr Stadium beginning one and a half hours prior to the scheduled kickoff. Individuals picking up credentials will be required to furnish positive identification. • Admission to the press box is for working media only. Friends, spouses and children are not permitted in the press area. • All media members are asked to enter the stadium through the South Gate. • Credentials to the sidelines and photo deck for photographers will be issued under the same guidelines as working credentials. Priority will be granted to those covering the participating schools on a regular basis. In accordance with NCAA rules, no freelance photographers will be admitted to the sidelines or the press box photo deck. All photographers must have a photo armband and media pass to shoot inside of Burke- Tarr Stadium. NCAA rules limit shooting to outside the restraining line enclosing the playing field and outside the 25-yard lines (team areas). Children are not permitted on the sidelines. • Credential requests for Carson-Newman road games should be addressed to the sports information director of the host institution well in advance of the scheduled game. Be specific when requesting the type of credential needed. Pro Scouts Due to space limitations, professional football scouts are asked to request press credentials at least five days before the date of the game. Requests should be directed to Carson-Newman Director of Athletic Communications Adam Cavalier at 865-471-3395. The Ken Sparks Show WBIR-Channel 10 (Knoxville) will again be the home of The Ken Sparks Show (TKSS). TKSS is the official television program of Carson-Newman Football. Every Monday and Tuesday night, Eagle Head Coach Ken Sparks breaks down C-N’s last game and previews the Eagles’ next opponent. The show will also take an in-depth look at an Eagle player or coach each week on the Eagle Insider. TKSS re-airs Tuesday nights at 9:30 p.m. on 10News2. The Eagle Sports Network Once again, WRJZ-AM 620 (Joy 620) will serve as the flagship station for Carson- Newman football. Each broadcast begins 60 minutes prior to kickoff with the Countdown to Kickoff, a high quality sports information program. Following the contests, fans can stay locked on the ERN for live interviews with head coach Ken Sparks and the players of the game during Eagle Wrap Up. The Live Stream All Carson-Newman home athletic events will be streamed live with video and audio through cneagles.com and the Stretch Internet Portal. There is no cost to view or listen to these events. All road football, men’s and women’s basketball games will be streamed with audio, but not video.
