2014-15 Carson-Newman Men’s Basketball Media Guide NCAA All-Americans Antoine Davis - G - 2013 Davis finished his Carson-Newman career with 1,526 points and at 18.3 points per game, the highest scoring average for any Eagle in the Division II era. In his senior season, he scored more than 20 points on 15 occasions this season. He hit 29 points on two occa-sions, both against Anderson. In his junior year, he hit his career high with 36 points against Queens. Davis helped Carson-Newman to its first NCAA tournament in a decade. The Eagles fell in the opening round to LMU 76-65. The 2012-13 South Atlantic Confer-ence player of the year had 16 games with five or more rebounds and six games with five or more assists. The Eagles were unbeaten his senior year when he dropped five or more dimes in a game. Davis is a two-time first team All-SAC selection and earned All-American honors as a ju-nior. Davis continued his playing career professionally with the Sechtem Toros 25
