2014-15 Carson-Newman Men’s Basketball Media Guide NCAA All-Americans Kyle Gribble - G - 2002 Kyle was the first All-American for the Eagles at the NCAA Division II level. He led the Eagles to back-to-back South Atlantic Confer-ence championships and the 2002 NCAA Sweet 16. Kyle scored over 1,000 points for his career and had over 600 rebounds. He was named SAC Player of the Year in 2003 after leading the Eagles to a 20-9 record and their second consecutive SAC title. Gribble was named to the All-Region team and the Tennessee Sports Writers Association All-State team. 24
