More than half of American adults do not have plans to protect people and causes that matter most to them. As a valued member of the alumni community, we care about your future and want to help you achieve the peace of mind that comes with having a plan in place. The U.S. Naval Academy Foundation Personal Estate Planning Kit walks you through the estate planning process step by step, answering your questions and providing insights that will benefit you and your loved ones. This tool is helpful on its own and in preparation for meeting with an estate planning attorney or other professional advisor. Learn how Gen Carlton W. Fulford Jr. ’66, USMC (Ret.), and his wife, Mary Ann, included the Naval Academy Foundation in their estate plans.

Tomlinson ’01 Reports Live from War-Torn Ukraine
Lucas Tomlinson ’01, former Naval officer, has been on the ground covering the conflict in Ukraine. Tomlinson began his journey as a sailor in 1997 and graduated from the Naval Academy in 2001, just before the 11 September attacks. Tomlinson served in the U.S. Navy until he joined FOX news in 2012. Tomlinson said his military service prepared him for his role as a journalist and for his recent time spent in war-torn Ukraine. “As a veteran you know how to work under pressure and it’s a tremendous skill,” he said. “It is so important to report on what people, the common man, the common woman, in some cases, the child is thinking, feeling and saying and it’s very important to make their voices heard around the world.”
