Spinner Farm is a working sheep and horse farm with a large indoor area where our festival artists, vendors and demonstrators will be set up. We raise dual purpose sheep (fiber & meat). It's mostly a spinner's flock with Romney, Blue Faced Leicester, Border Leicester, and Cheviot lines. At WAT, we will also have natural and hand dyed roving, batts for spinning or needle-felting, hand spun yarn, mohair locks and wool blankets. We will also have a limited number of washable Natural Sheepskin Rugs. Farm, fiber and horsemanship summer and school vacation camps for young and old. Lessons for fiber prep, spinning and knitting are available upon request.

I work with an old time rug making technique called Standing Wool. Strips of wool fabric are coiled or gathered then stitched to make colorful, textural creations. With common sewing tools, I make fun and whimsical pins, garlands, and ornaments.
