Here are some common issues users have run into, and how to troubleshoot them.
My app asks me for a PIN to connect to the Bluetooth bulb.
Sometimes when users try to connect to the bulb, it asks for a PIN to do so. This issue is most commonly happens for Android users. The Flux WiFi smart light bulbs does not require any PIN to pair or connect. If you see this message make sure you are using the correct app to connect to the bulb. You can find the link to the app earlier in the manual.
After I tried to pair the bulb via my home network, the bulbs disappeared.
This usually means that the you entered the password to your home network wrong, and the app is unable to connect to the bulb or your home network. Here is how you fix the issue:
Open the Magic Home application
Click the little gear icon in the upper left corner of the app.
Click the Help button at the bottom
Click "Bulb"
Click the "How to restore the factory setting..." help topic.
Follow the instructions. Basically you need to switch the light on and off 4 times. Each time it turns on wait 1-3 seconds before you turn it off. You'll know you did it right because the 4th time it will take longer (20 seconds) to turn on.
