It is possible to snorkel at the St. Andrews State Park Pier, or out on Shell Island. You will find habitats from the sandy bottom to the shallow grass flats to rocky faces of jetties. The habitats include tropical fish, crabs, turtles, rays, and, if lucky enough, a few bottlenose dolphins or a sea turtle. Snorkel gear can be rented at the Jetty Store. We pick up from and drop off approximately 2.25 miles down the island at State Park docks*. It will take around fifteen minutes to get from the island's dock.
