Shell Island can be a little crowded during peak hours. But if you go at the right moment, you will find many shells. If you're lucky enough to go, the Panama City beaches will be awash with shells. You can find a lot of shells if you go in the morning, when the tide is low.

Day visits are available from 8am to 8pm depending on tide, so there is plenty of time for you to explore, enjoy, and relax. Day visits are canceled when the Camp site is full. This is for safety and health reasons. We apologize if this causes any problems. Before you leave for the Island, it is best to call us before leaving.
