The number of passengers on our Panama City Beach Dolphin Tours is limited to six. Our guests can explore St. Andrew Bay comfortably, have a good conversation with their tour captain and see the dolphins up close. Your captain will bring the tour boat as close as possible to the dolphins, while being respectful and cautious to avoid causing them stress.

To start off your tour, our guides will show you the beauty of Shell Island. This 7 mile stretch of undeveloped paradise is a barrier island that runs east to west between the Gulf of Mexico and St. Andrews Bay. This is Florida at its most natural, far away from the theme parks and resorts. Shell Island is a home for endangered species like loggerhead sea turtles and piping plovers, and is known for the abundance of beautiful shells that are found on the beaches.

If conditions are safe and suitable, you might be able swim and snorkel with dolphins. This could mean that you may have a chance to swim and snorkel with dolphins. But, this does not mean you can touch them. Wild dolphins have their own minds and are free to roam freely. Sometimes they will swim up to 3 feet from you. Other times, they will swim away from your face and you won't see them in the water. We don't feed or harass dolphins. We cannot guarantee swimming with dolphins. We do not believe that promising to swim with dolphins is ethical. We love the company of wild dolphins. On all of our boat tours, we follow and support the Marine Mammal Protection Act. If dolphins are in danger, we won't be able swim with them. It is at the captain's sole discretion.

Pontoons can be driven very quickly, so you don't need any experience to rent one. St. Andrew's Bay's beauty is its smooth water, so don't worry if it's your first time captaining a boat.
