Andrew and his wife Julie are lifetime Seattleites. He attended the Photographic Center Northwest, and has had extensive continuing education. He is Certified by the Professional Photographers of America, https://www.ppa.com/whycpp and has been a member there since 1997, he is also very active with their local affiliate, The Professional Photographers of Washington, where he has served as a District Representative and is the current Vice President.
