FAQs
Being one of their biggest investments people always have a lotof questions before coming to a conclusion , below are some of the most common ones…
Unless you’re a properly trained contractor, most roofing jobs should not be performed yourself. Additionally bear in mind that most manufacturers of products used in the repair of the roof will not warranty those items unless a certified roofing contractor carries out the work. The other thing to always remember is that working on a roof can be very dangerous, so is it really worth risking your health in order to save money?
It would be really good if we were able to give you a straight forward response to this question! However, there actually is no single answer that fits all for each question like that. There are a lot of unique products available and each one will have its own merits and faults. To figure out which is the right roof for your home, you should have an expert come and examine your roof and they can make suggestions based on what they discover, your roof design, the climate you reside in and, of course, your budget.
It definitely depends upon the type of roof and exactly what evaluations are mandated. Also, bear in mind that we will be working outdoors in the elements, so if the weather isn’t good and we just can’t work on a number of days then this will add time to the task. A smaller home might take about a week or so, whereas more substantial commercial projects could be anything from several weeks to a few months. Just make sure your roofing company keeps you updated and you should be fine.
Because your roof is continually subjected to the outside elements, this means your roof is going to deteriorate with time. The pace at which it breaks down will depend on a variety of variables. Those include; the grade of the initial materials used along with the workmanship, the amount of abuse it will have to take from the elements, how well the roof is preserved and the style of the roof. Most roofing professionals will estimate around 20 years for a well-built and well-kept roof, but that can never be guaranteed because of the above issues. Our suggestion is to always keep your roof well maintained and get regular roof inspections to make sure it lasts as long as possible.
You shouldn’t ever pressure-wash your roof, as you take the risk of getting rid of any protective materials that have been included to offer cover from the elements. Also, you should stay clear of chlorine-based bleach cleaning products as they could also cut down the life-span of your roof. When you communicate with your roof cleaning expert, tell them to use an EPA-approved algaecide/fungicide to clean your roof. This will clear away the undesirable algae and yellowing without damaging the tile or shingles.

In 1882, Hamilton Disston, who in the previous year had purchased the land where the city of Tarpon Springs now stands, ordered the creation of a town plan for the future city.[1] On February 12, 1887, Tarpon Springs became the first incorporated city in what is now Pinellas County.[1] Less than a year later on January 13, 1888, the Orange Belt Railway, the first railroad line to be built in what is now Pinellas County, arrived in the city.[9] During this time the area was developed as a wintering spot for wealthy northerners.
