A variety of starfishes, sanddollars bay scallops, whelks conchs upto 21 inches long, seahorses urchins and hermit crabs among other crab species are common species that we see. These animals are easy to bring to the surface. They can also be photographed. We use large containers to allow snorkelers and non-snorkelers to see the animals up close before they are released back into the bay. You can also take any shells you find that have not been inhabited by living creatures home. —

We’ll put you in the water before the dolphins arrive. That way, the dolphins are more likely to come to us rather than swim away. Unlike the larger tour boats that carry up to 150 people, Panama City Beach Snorkeling & Dolphin Tours LLC carries only 6 passengers (children included). We can have you in the water with your snorkel gear on quickly and without all the splashing and disruptions that large groups create, often frightening the dolphins away. In addition to observing dolphins, our dolphin and island tours visit beautiful Shell Island. Here we can explore the beach, hunt for shells, wade, swim, and, if conditions allow, snorkel in the crystal clear protected waters and observe a wide variety of marine life.

Our 21-foot and 23 foot Carolina Skiffs are stable, comfortable and stable. The boat has a central console design that maximizes open space and allows for easy movement. It also features a forward deck with a cushioned cushion for observation and lounging. There are large bimini tops to shade you and plenty of ice chest space.

We also often see manatees. Manatees can be seen if conditions permit. However, we prefer passive observation so that they are not tempted to approach us.
