USNA ALUMNI ASSOCIATION AND FOUNDATION |
The Alumni Association & Foundation Center project is finally underway. It took over a year to get through the environmental gauntlet to get our final design building plans approved. COVID didn’t help. We will begin demolition of the existing structures at the Perry Center site this month. The project is expected to be completed in 17 months. We anticipate moving into the new facility in late Spring of 2023. The building will be 65k sq ft and include expansive opportunities to host events. You can find out more on www.usna.com. The front page of our website has updated renderings, a live camera feed to the work site, and a description of how to become a plank owner.
The need for mentors remains. We have over 4,100 alumni enrolled in the Alumni Mentoring Program. This tool provides a critical role in assisting our alumni with personal and professional career advice.
SACC will start 2022 will in person events beginning 24-25 February in Jacksonville, FL. As a reminder, companies are welcome to list job opportunities between SACC events on our job board.

ALUMNI CLASSES |
To check the most updated reunion schedule please visit: www.usna.com/reunions.
Fall reunions have gone very smoothly this year—everyone was happy to see our alumni back on the Yard after missing out last year due to COVID cancellations. We were especially happy to see how many classes opted to reschedule their reunions from last year – those “+1s” were wonderful. The classes were delighted to come back and see all the changes on the Yard, especially the beautiful new copper dome on the Chapel.
The Council of Class Presidents will be meeting on 2 December and will be the first in-person meeting in over a year. To celebrate and to commemorate our Year of Gratitude, at the invitation of the Superintendent, we will take the Class Presidents on a tour of all the new venues on the Yard, including Hopper Hall, the Ron Terwilliger ’63 Center for Student-Athletes and the U.S. Naval Institute auditorium.
