1994-02 GM 4L60E Transmission Cooling Pan DER14204
Derale's transmission cooling pan uses air passing beneath the vehicle and redirects it to help lower
transmission oil temperature. Pan features brazed, turbulator-equipped airway tubes passing through the
lower section of the transmission pan for more efficient cooling, each is individually pressure tested to ensure
a leak-free pan. We've included a much stronger magnetic drain plug and rubber/steel reusable washer, in
addition to a 1/8" NPT temperature sender bung located in the side of the pan. Finished with a durable black
two-stage coating, each pan also includes neoprene gasket and 1/8" NPT temperature sender plug.

Detroit Truetrac and Eaton Posi

for maintenance-free traction. The Eaton Posi utilizes carbon friction discs behind each side gear that are pre-loaded with a central spring assembly that
increases the clamping load as input torque increases.

Recommended Lubricants
Detroit Locker and Eaton Locker: Most gear oils are sufficient and a quality petroleum oil is recommended. Synthetic oils and friction
modifiers are not necessary.
Detroit Truetrac: A quality GL5 rated petroleum-based oil is recommended. Synthetic oils may also be used if recommended by the specific
axle manufacturer. Friction modifiers should not be used as they will decrease performance and reduce differential bias.
Eaton Posi: A quality GL5 petroleum-based oil is recommended with the addition of a 4 oz. bottle of friction modifier.
