The Osirians are a hugely powerful race. They have been compared even to the Timelords in their might and technological capabilites. They are generally benevolent, and their image has become engraved in Egyptian culture. This is due to the fact that the Egyptians worshipped these creatures as gods. Granted, this benevolent nature does not apply to all Osirians. One of them went rogue and ran to Earth, where it took an army of 740 Osirians to take him down.
