At the end of the final episode ("Afterbirth"), we see the ghosts of the Harmons and Moira (Frances Conroy) living happily ever after, decorating a Christmas tree while a suitably haunting rendition of "The Little Drummer Boy" plays softly in the background. This is about as "happy" an ending as one could expect from the series. Meanwhile, we see Hayden (Kate Mara) and Tate (Evan Peters) watching this from outside the Murder House, clearly not over their respective rejections handed to them throughout the season. Knowing how vengeful these two can be, we're left wondering if these forces of evil eventually teamed up to make the Harmon's afterlives as much of a living hell as they made their mortal lives. You know Hayden still had some devious tricks up her sleeve for sure!
