The Pitch:

An alien super-hunter lands in Guatemala and comes across Arnold Schwarzenegger and friends. Ultraviolence ensues.

Why You Need It:

Predator came right in the middle of Arnold Schwarzenegger's hot streak, when the Austrian muscleman was cementing his status as the new action king of Hollywood. When his Special Forces team encounters some unearthly opposition during a rescue mission in Guatemala, Major "Dutch" Schaefer ends up going mano a mano with an alien foe. The first act's battle scene is a paean to man's combat ingenuity, and the final brawl between Dutch and the Predator is one of the most awesome slugfests in movie history.
