Justin Timberlake is an action star? You better believe it. Your jaw will hit the floor when you see Justin punch, kick, jump off staircases and get into high-speed car chases like he was Bruce Willis or somebody in In Time. Get in the mood for this blood-pumping sci-fi thriller with a look at some of the best action scenes from the archives of The Rush.

Liam Neeson punches and/or shoots every single person in France in the Luc Besson-produced thriller, Taken. Really, this movie has made every single country think twice before kidnapping any member of Liam Neeson's family, which is why no member of Liam Neeson's family has ever been kidnapped. Remember when Liam used to make movies like Kinsey? Yeah, we don't, either.

The most surprising thing about the movie adaptation of the beloved '80s action series The A-Team was how, well, freaking great it ended up being. The flick (which also stars LIAM NEESON) is filled with over-the-top action scenes, but the most astonishing one might be the scene where the boys get in a tank with parachutes attached to it to keep from getting blown up in a plane and... well, just watch.

People seem to have forgotten that Kathryn Bigelow, the Oscar-winning director of The Hurt Locker, is also the director of such badass '90s action flicks as Point Break and Strange Days. Nothing in the latter ever quite tops the opening scene, which chronicles a violent (and profanity-laden) robbery from the point of view of one of the criminals, courtesy of the kind of cool technology that we'll get to enjoy in 1999 (uh...). Hope this doesn't bring down your whole day like it did for Ralph Fiennes.

Pretty much all of John McClane's fourth cinematic adventure is a badass action scene, so it's hard to choose just one moment as the "best." Ultimately, we decided to go with one of the most "iconic" moments from Live Free or Die Hard, which features ol' John taking out a helicopter with a police car... 'cause that's just the kind of stuff that John McClane does every now and then.

The opening car chase from Daniel Craig's second 007 adventure definitely has its detractors due to its frenetic editing, but we think it's one of the most exciting pre-credits Bond openers ever. Director Marc Forster brings his surrealistic style to the hardcore action, making for an almost dreamlike ballet of screeching tires and angry bullets. And Craig is super-cool as he handles it all with a stoic, steely calm.
