Glee: Season 1, Volume 1 - Road to Sectionals

The first 13 episodes of the first season will make you want to sing - or at least try.

Why You Need It:

Because it's Glee, and to not love Glee is to not love joy. Sure, it's only the first 13 episodes of the first season, but it will hold you over until the complete first season is released in the fall of 2010. Sing along to your favorite episodes, including "Mattress," which features a pretty amazing set piece involving the cast in their pajamas, leaping about as they croon their own spin on Van Halen's "Jump," and "Preggers," which proves that even the football team can carry a tune (and a dance, at that). Ultimately, Glee is what television needs more of: energetic without being obnoxious, witty without being ironic.
