Despite the fact that he's an alcoholic, Brian Griffin might very well be the most rational member of the Griffin clan -- the dog often is in many families, after all. Here we've compiled a series of Family Guy videos featuring Brian doing his best to keep the peace and remain calm as a chaotic world explodes around him.

This is a prime example of when Seth MacFarlane does some of his funniest writing after checking Wikipedia. Brian spews off a total of twenty-six songs that are named after girls without contemplation or hesitation -- and he probably could've listed more if Stewie had challenged him further. It's been a while since we've heard some of these -- time to break out the old cassettes!

Again, sometimes Brian can't resist his better doggie instincts, eve though he seems to be in denial about them and might try to block out the memories of his more dog-like actions. If Brian got into the kitchen garbage once, he'll probably do it again -- though he may now think twice about swallowing bubblegum.

Like every Griffin family member, Brian has been called upon to be a living punching bag every now and then -- here, Stewie makes sure Brian's Emmy vote is for a show called Family Guy. Be warned: meta-humor has rarely been so brutal.
|
A world run by dogs would still have certain disadvantages for the dominant race. Stewie demonstrates one of the more disgusting results of the roles being reversed as Brian does what he does better than any other Griffin family remember -- he reacts.
|
Stewie discovers the hard way that there's only so much criticizing of his lack of walkie talkie protocol that Brian can take before there are physical consequences. Stewie can be intolerably annoying -- and Brian can be quite violent when even his seemingly endless patience runs out.
