Robin of Loxley was a soldier during the Crusades, captured by Muslims and taken to Khalil Prison in Jerusalem. With the help of another prisoner, Asneeze, Robin escapes and frees all of the other inmates, and Robin promises his friend that he'll find his missing son, Achoo, when he returns to England. Robin indeed finds Achoo, and he becomes one of Robin's Men in Tights, a group of merry vigilantes dedicated to getting Robin's father's land back and ousting the buffoonish Prince John from the British throne. Along the way, Robin meets and falls in love with the lovely Maid Marian, who unfortunately ends up being betrothed to the nasty Sheriff of Rottingham. It's a hard knock life for a Man in Tights.
