Nikolai Wolf is the dreamy lead singer of indie band Low Shoulder, who summarizes his band's particular plight thusly: "Do you know how hard it is to make it as an indie band these days? There are so many of us, and we're all so cute and it's like if you don't get on Letterman or some retarded soundtrack, you're screwed, okay? Satan is our only hope." Nikolai and the band sacrifice Jennifer Check, who has a crush on Nikolai and whom they falsely believe is a virgin, to the Beast. While Low Shoulder then enjoys fame and fortune, Jennifer's non-virginity causes the ritual to go a little... awry. Anyway, Jennifer's BFF, Needy, eventually makes sure Nikolai and his merry band get everything they deserve in the end.
