For better or worse, it's hard to think of the X-Men and not think of Storm. Whether it was her unique powers, glammed out costumes, or noble prestige, Storm has always been one of the strongest mainstays of the X-Men teams. Sure, she may have been lowered a couple notches in the movies, whether you blame Halle Berry or not, but her departure from the X-Men has definitely been noticeable.
After marrying the Black Panther, she became Queen of Wakanda, a title that comes with lots work, all of which can only be done at the homeland. That left her with a choice; marry T'Challa or stay with the X-Men. She must have wanted a vibranium/adamantium ring because she became an ex-X-Woman. That's the setup for X-Men: Worlds Apart and let's just say that not everyone is welcoming her back to her X-Family with open arms. Read the full first 8 pages inside, provided by our good friends at Marvel Comics! Don't worry, there are no crappy lines about toads and lightning.
