Spring Style File: 11 Coolest Pieces in Geek Fashion

This Spring is all about geek chic, because you've gotta look good to get the girl.

Geeks have become chic. It's a pretty terrifying thought and doesn't really reflect much of true geek fashion: stained T-shirts, jeans we've had since high school and glasses that tend not to bring out our eyes in any flattering sense. Over the past few years geek culture has been co-opted by larger companies looking to turn a profit, but we can't fault them for putting out some truly rad gear that just make us throw out our standing-in-the-back-of-the-high-school-dance-making-fun-of-the-kids-who-were-actually-dancing jeans and Bruce Lee T-shirt. (But probably not.)

Marc Ecko Boba Fett Hoodie

Designer Marc Ecko raised plenty of eyebrows in the geek community when we heard he was working on Star Wars-themed duds, but we were totally on board once we saw the radness of this Boba Fett hoodie. It not only mimics the Mandalorian bounty hunter's armor-including blaster marks-but also includes a hood that zips all the way closed to give you that truly menacing look. Just make sure to stay away from those Sarlacc pits with the hood closed, you don't want to end up as an unwitting snack. The $98 price tag might price this one out of some fans' budgets, but it will surely inspire some DIY versions or big time saving sprees to get your own.

Like the rest of the PRO-Keds shoes and everything else on Zazzle, the comic book shoes can be customized to a crazy degree, but take note, the more you add, the more expensive they might get. Star Wars Rock Band T-Shirt

Not everyone wants to go online to buy their clothes, so luckily stores like Kohls have started carrying some surprisingly rad T-shirts. Sure, you're more likely to get a shirt that tons of other people have, but it's kind of like Curt Cobain okaying cleaned up version of Nirvana records at Walmarts, getting the geekiness to the people is key! Take this crazy mash-up shirt for instance, not only does it sport Han, Luke, Darth Vader and Chewie in an epic painted style but also them as a rock band! Well done Khols, this is something even we hadn't considered in our wildest fan fic fantasies.
