It's a ridiculous concept, to be sure: a group of buddies on a ski trip hop into their lodge’s hot tub and are transported back in time to 1986 and into their old bodies, when they were all young and hip and totally radical! And sure, there are plot-holes, like one of the friends wasn’t even born in 1986 yet he made the trip anyway. But none of that diminishes from the laugh-out-loud qualities of this raunchy and crazy-assed comedy. So fill up the kiddie pool, keep it at least 12 feet from the TV, and see if maybe you can go back to a younger, awesomer you.
The ultimate Arnold Schwarzenegger movie just got ultimate-er! And just in time for the new Predators to come out on July 9. The director of the original, John McTiernan, went on to direct two Die Hard movies and a slew of other action movie blockbusters. Pop this into your Blu-ray machine before you see the new movie to see how McTiernan and director Nimrod Antal compare. Because we’re pretty certain Arnold and new leading man Adrian Brody don’t compare at all. Mr. Universe. Just sayin’.
Did you know that a Halo movie has already been made? Well, okay, maybe not a movie, more like a television series. Okay, maybe more like a web series. Okay, maybe it’s not really based on Halo so much as it’s based on the concept and character designs of Halo. In fact, I’m thinking Red Vs. Blue has almost nothing to do with Halo. Well, it’s funnier than a swift kick to a Jersey Shore cast member’s nuts, and I double-dog dare you not to fall in love with Caboose.
